🌟 how it started
Aul Bowman started because Anoushka thought the 'p' in the original name was a flag, instead of a 'p'. And so Aul Bowman arose. Maya thought that we should make a friend group, and Aul Bowman is something that only we know. We all officialized it — by cheering, YES!!! — and all five of us sat there every day for almost a whole year.
😢 but one day...
The teachers told us we could sit outside, and closed up the tables... INCLUDING THE AUL BOWMAN TABLE. We were so heartbroken. We couldn't sit with Aul anymore! It was super sad, and I think Aul was feeling sad too. So that day at lunch, we said goodbye to Aul — not forever, but for the moment.
🔄 the rise of waul bowman
Without Aul, what could we do? We created a substitute — like when your teacher has to go to some random removed second cousin's wedding on their spouse's side that they don't even KNOW, and you end up with a substitute. Like that, but without the wedding part. So Prisha created waul bowman, right up next to the wall near Mr. Kittredge's room. And so it was done.
